I recently got myself a heat press printing set from Start 2 Print so my favourite make at the moment is mugs as it a new product for me and it feels more hands on than my cards as I have to go through a bit more of a ‘making’ process. I start off by creating the design to the correct dimensions on illustrator. Then this gets printed onto transfer paper, I leave it to cure for a few minutes before then sticking it down onto the mug using heat resistant tape. After the mug press is heated up to the correct temperature, I then place the mug into the press and wait… As soon as it is ready, I pull the mug out, carefully peel the paper off and cool it down in water. Then voila a mug is created ready to dispatch! It has taken me a few attempts to get it right but you can see in this little video a couple of my newest designs… The GDPR compliant mug – this is customisable as the hot drink can be changed to whatever you like & the cookies and brew policy mug, a mick take on them constant internet pop ups!
