Creating my player tokens

To create my player tokens I have been using Fimo modelling clay. I decided to start with the character I thought would be the most difficult to model – Hip. My first attempt didn’t go exactly as I planned, I wasn’t very precise and just made it up as I went along.

It actually ended up looking a little bit evil! So for my next attempt I decided to print out my characters as line drawings to use these as a template for cutting out the pieces. This second one looked a lot better, however, was way too big to use as a character token.

After this, I decided that because they need to be very small I needed to lose the details. So firstly remade Hip as a very simple shape. Then from this continued to make the others. Being so simple they were a lot easier to create and I am really happy with the end result!
